DESROSIERS TRAJECTORY AWARD
This is a grant intended to encourage progress in our craft. The perfect nomination is a maker who is already on a path the community is excited about, this is not necessarily for the young or needy. The proceeds can be used for anything knife related, tools, table fees, show travel, classes etc.
You can apply for yourself, nominate other makers or both! Funds will be provided through auction or raffle of one of our latest custom knives with the total amount going to the grant recipient.
Most of you know how much help Adam and I received from the knife community after our shop fire. We can never repay everyone who helped us in that dark hour but this is a small way we can pay it forward.

I'll need some recent pictures of your/their work (or a link to a website or IG that has them) and the answers to these questions.
1. Why did you become a knifemaker?
2. Where do you see your work headed in the next 5 years?
3. What would you be using the award funds for?
Those applications not chosen this go around will stay in the pile for next time. My vision is to do this at least once a year.
